Ambassador to Baghdad Hassan Danaeifar met with Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi on Saturday, IRNA reported. The two officials discussed bilateral cooperation, especially in dealing with the threat posed by the so-called Islamic State (ISW) terrorist group. The Iraqi prime minister said the danger that is now threatening the region is Daesh (the Arabic acronym for IS) and stressed the need for greater efforts to destroy the terrorist group.
