Iraqi Vice President Nouri al-Maliki said the Iraqi nation will never forget Iran’s great support and assistance. The Iraqi official made the remarks in a ceremony held on Wednesday at the Iranian Embassy in Baghdad to commemorate the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, which was also attended by Iraqi Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jabouri and Deputy Prime Minister Nouri Shavis, IRNA reported. Maliki also expressed hope that efforts by the two countries’ officials would help elevate bilateral relations to the highest possible level.
