Plan to Set Up Round-the-Clock Vaccination Centers

Iran is planning to open vaccination hubs equipped to give out vaccines 24 hours a day to ramp up inoculation rates against the coronavirus.
Head of Covid-19 operations in the province of Tehran, Alireza Zali, said that three 24-hours open vaccination centers will be introduced to the public in coming days, ISNA reported.
According to the health official, hospitalizations and deaths have significantly dropped among vaccinated individuals. 
Iran has given out a total of 30.3 million vaccine shots since it launched its national vaccination campaign. So far, some 19.9 million people have received a first dose and 10.3 million have been fully vaccinated.
On Tuesday, the Health Ministry reported record-breaking vaccination numbers as it administered over 884,000 vaccines in one day. 
Iran on the weekend received the first shipment from its new agreement with China to bring in five million jabs on a weekly basis to curb the fifth wave of outbreak driven by the Delta variant.
To help contain the disease, Austria on Tuesday donated one million doses of AstraZeneca vaccines to Iran, which can further speed up the vaccination drive and prevent deaths. 
The Health Ministry on Tuesday registered 635 more deaths, taking the national toll to nearly 111,900.
