The chairman of the Majlis subcommittee on the Caspian Sea told ICANA on Friday a meeting on the legal regime of the sea will be held in Golestan Province in late February. Nozar Shafiei said such meetings can be helpful in framing Iran's policy on the issue. At the 4th summit of the Caspian Sea littoral states in the Russian city of Astrakhan in late September, a joint statement was issued outlining future agreements on cooperation in the region.
