Congratulations on Qatar National Day

President Hassan Rouhani sent a message to Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to express congratulations on the Arab country’s National Day.
“I would like to offer my sincerest congratulations to Your Excellency and the people of your country on the National Day of the State of Qatar,” his message read, President.ir reported. 
He hailed the friendly and close Iran-Qatar relations, expressing certainty that the ties will continue to develop to serve the interests of the two nations in light of the will of the senior officials of both countries.
Rouhani highlighted the abundant potentials and capabilities of the two neighbors, hoping bilateral cooperation will develop further in all fields of mutual interest. 
“I wish Your Excellency health and success, and the friendly, brotherly people of the State of Qatar prosperity and felicity,” he said. 
Qatar National Day is a commemoration of the country’s unification in 1878. It is celebrated annually on Dec. 18 and is also known as Founder's Day.
