The director general for political and international security affairs at the foreign ministry traveled to Moscow on Wednesday to hold discussions with Russian officials on bilateral nuclear cooperation and the latest developments in the talks between Iran and the major powers on a final nuclear deal to resolve the dispute over Tehran’s nuclear program, Fars news agency reported.
Nuclear negotiator Hamid Baeidinejad will also hold consultations on international nuclear disarmament efforts, the establishment of regions free from nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction, and the 2015 review conference on the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, known as NPT.
