Defense Cooperation

In a meeting with military attaché in Baghdad Mostafa Moradian, Iraqi parliament's Security and Defense Committee Chairman Hakem al-Zameli called for expansion of defense relations between the two countries, IRNA reported. The Iraqi lawmaker said his committee is ready to make every effort to help pave the way for increased defense cooperation. He also thanked Iran for backing the Arab country in its campaign against terrorism. The Iranian official expressed Tehran's readiness to increase its support to help the Iraqis defeat terrorists.
