A senior Hamas official says the Palestinian resistance movement is ready to cooperate with Iran to end the occupation of the Palestinian territories by the Zionist regime. In an interview with the Lebanese satellite television Al-Manar on Sunday, Mahmoud al-Zahar asked Iran to help the movement in its campaign against the Israeli regime, Fars news agency reported.
Fars also said Chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau Khaled Meshaal is expected to visit Iran in the coming weeks.
