Kuwait’s deputy foreign minister, Khalid Suleiman Al-Jarallah, was due to arrive in Tehran on Sunday to attend a meeting of the Iran-Kuwait joint political committee on Monday.
The Kuwaiti official and Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian will preside over the meeting.
Bilateral ties and regional and international issues, particularly the threat of terrorism to the region, will be discussed at the meeting.
