The Netherlands’ minister of foreign affairs is set to visit Tehran on Feb. 21-22 to hold talks with top Iranian officials.
Stef Blok will meet President Hassan Rouhani and his Iranian counterpart, Mohammad Javad Zarif, to discuss bilateral ties as well as regional and international developments, IRNA reported.
The visit is part of regular political consultations held between the two countries every six months.
The Iranian and Dutch deputy foreign ministers had made mutual visits over the past two years to hold the second and third rounds of the discussions.
The Netherlands’ Andre Haspels made a trip to Tehran in November 2018 and Abbas Araqchi traveled to the Dutch city of The Hague a year later to pursue the bilateral agenda.
