A nuclear expert announced on Wednesday that Iran will host a regional nuclear safety meeting next winter.
“The conference will be the first regional conference on nuclear safety, and the preparations for holding the conference have been completed,” Nasser Rastkhah, president of Iran’s nuclear safety association, said in an interview with IRNA on Wednesday on the sidelines of the 6th annual Nuclear Power Asia 2015 in Kuala Lumpur.
He said the decision to hold the conference indicates that the government pays special attention to cooperation with regional countries.
