Six Egyptian policemen from an armored convoy were killed on Tuesday when a roadside bomb exploded in a volatile part of northern Sinai. Militants in Sinai have stepped up their attacks on policemen and soldiers since then-President Mohamed Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood was toppled last year.
