Pakistan Protest Talks Deadlocked

Talks to end a month long sit-in by anti-government protesters in Pakistan were deadlocked after authorities arrested dozens of demonstrators, some of whom were accused of storming a TV station. Thousands of protesters have been rallying in Islamabad since August 14 calling on Premier Nawaz Sharif to resign over what they claim was massive rigging of the 2013 election.
