Afghan Ex-President Slams MOAB Bomb Strike by US

Afghan ex-president, Hamid Karzai, stepped back into the news yesterday to condemn the dropping of the “Mother of All Bombs” on the nation’s Nangarhar Province.
The MOAB is the most powerful non-nuclear device ever created by the United States and has never previously been deployed against a foreign enemy, MediaITE reported.
In a three-part Twitter thread, Karzai called the bombing “brutal” and “inhuman”, and slammed the US for using Afghanistan as a “testing ground” for weaponry. Though he has largely faded from the news since leaving office in 2014, Karzai emerged as a national hero as Afghanistan’s first post-Taliban president.
