Several Injured in Algeria Bombing

Several people were injured when a suicide attacker blew himself up in the Algerian city of Constantine, media reports said on Monday. The terrorist detonated a suicide belt near a local police station, the Sky News Arabia channel reported. Algerian security services have already identified the attacker who had previously taken part in an attack on police, according to the news outlet. The bomber showed up in front of an outpost in Bab el-Kantara neighborhood and tried to walk in, the sources said. When officers refused to allow the unidentified attacker, he blew himself up, the sources added. Authorities have yet to make an official statement on the impact and casualties caused by the attack.  The area has been cordoned off and an investigation is underway, according to reports.
