Tablets linked to the deaths of more than a dozen women who visited a government-run sterilization camp an impoverished Indian state are likely to have contained a chemical compound commonly used in rat poison. Meanwhile, the head of Mahawar Pharmaceuticals, the firm at the center of investigations, is under arrest for allegedly tampering with and destroying evidence after the deaths were reported.
