4 Dead in Russia Mine Accident

The number of people killed in an accident in a coal mine owned by Russian steelmaker Severstal rose to four and 26 others were still unaccounted for, Interfax news agency cited a spokesman of the Investigative Committee as saying on Friday, Reuters reported. At the moment of the accident on Thursday, in Russia’s northern Komi Republic, 110 people were in the mine and 80 of them were rescued to the surface.
