Israeli troops shot dead at least two Palestinians during a gun battle in the occupied West Bank on Monday, Palestinian medical sources said, amid a weeks-old wave of violence. At least three Palestinians were wounded in the confrontation at the Qalandia Refugee Camp near the West Bank city of Ramallah, as troops demolished the home of a militant who Israel said had killed an Israeli man in June, Reuters reported.
