Menem Refused to Testify in AMIA Trial

Former Argentine President Carlos Menem is refusing to testify in a trial in which he is accused of derailing the investigation into the South American nation’s worst terrorist attack. Menem is one of the persons charged with obstructing the investigation, AP reported. The 1994 bombing at the building of the Argentine Israelite Mutual Association, also known as AMIA, killed 85 people.
