Pakistani intelligence officials said a suspected US drone strike targeting a militant hideout killed six men in a northwestern tribal region along Afghan border. The two officials say the compound hit late Tuesday in the Shawal area of North Waziristan belonged to militants loyal to an Afghan warlord and was also frequented by Uzbek fighters, AP reported.
