The Islamic State group has released 22 Assyrian Christians in northeastern Syria who were abducted along with over 200 others in Syria last February, the Assyrian Federation of Sweden, which has been monitoring the case, reported on Tuesday. It said 14 of those released were women, Al Jazeera reported.
