Japan Heat Wave Kills 14

A heat wave in Japan claimed the lives of 14 people last week, the country’s Fire and Disaster Management Agency said Wednesday. It said 6,165 people requested medical assistance due to sultry weather in several regions, including 578 people in Tokyo. A majority of heat sufferers were above 65, Sputnik reported.
