Pakistan Taliban Deny IS Allegiance

The Pakistani Taliban has denied that it has pledged allegiance to the IS militants saying its statement was not “published correctly.” The group’s spokesman, Shahid Shahidullah, says the Taliban is not “supporting any specific group in Syria or Iraq; all groups there are noble and they are our brothers.”  On Saturday some media cited Shahidullah as saying the Taliban would offer “every possible support” to IS.
