8 Cops Killed in Somalia

Gunmen from Al-Shabab militant group killed at least eight officers in a raid on a police station near the Somalia capital, police and the militants said on Saturday. Al-Shabab insurgents stormed a police station on the edge of Afgoi Town at around 1 a.m. local time, 30 km southwest of Mogadishu, killing eight officers and stealing three pickup trucks, Reuters reported.
