More than 430 people were reported to have died in a heatwave sweeping India, with temperatures reaching 48C in some areas. Most deaths have taken place in southern states, where more than 140 people have died since Saturday. The worst-hit state has been Andhra Pradesh where death to is reported at 246 people, BBC reported.
