A US jury sentenced the Boston marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to death by lethal injection, sweeping aside pleas that he was just a “kid”. Three people were killed and 260 injured when the Kyrgyzstani-American, now 21, and his brother placed bombs at the finishing line of the Boston Marathon in 2013, BBC reported.
