The German navy has dispatched two vessels - a combat support ship and a frigate to the Mediterranean Sea – as part of efforts to prevent tragic deaths of migrants in the region. The frigate is equipped with a radar system which can locate migrant boats as far as 40km away and the support ship is equipped with a military hospital with capacity for 250 people, DW reported.
