Morsi Death Penalty

Egypt’s ex-president Mohammed Morsi will face being sentenced to death Tuesday on charges of inciting the killing of protesters in the first verdict against him two years after he was toppled. Egypt’s first freely elected president also faces the death penalty in the two other trials, including on charges of spying for foreign powers and escaping prison. Separate verdicts in those two cases are scheduled to May 16, Sputnik reported.
