50,000 Evacuated in Pakistan Floods

 

Some 50,000 people have been evacuated amid floods in Pakistan. Boats and 19 army helicopters were dispatched to help people in the country’s south escape their waterlogged villages. Around two dozen people were killed over the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 346. Some 300,000 people have been treated by Pakistani medical staff.
