The US National Weather Service (NWS) admitted its forecasts were wrong, after predicting a “potentially” historic blizzard would strike. The Winter Storm Juno piled deep snow on Connecticut and Massachusetts, but didn’t dump the amount of snow predicted in New York. “Rapidly deepening winter storms are very challenging to predict,” NWS said, BBC reported.
