Temperature Rose in Iran by 0.8°C Over Spring

Iran's average temperature was higher than the long-term average for the spring season (starts March 21), according to the National Drought Warning and Monitoring Center at Iran's Meteorological Organization. Sadeq Ziaian, the center's head, said the long-term average for this season was 20.3°C for the entire country but this year's figure registered a 0.8° C increase. "None of the provinces experienced lower temperatures in the period but Markazi, Hamedan and Tehran provinces saw the smallest rise," he said, ISNA reported. Sistan-Baluchestan with a 1.3° C increase and Bushehr, Kerman and Khuzestan with 1.2° C warmer weather saw the highest rise in temperature.
