The second National Metal Production and Recycling Competition will be held on September 2-3, by Amirkabir University of Technology to explore the best ideas on recycling industrial waste. The competition aims to find a modern and economically viable technique specifically to recycle used batteries, IRNA cited AUT’s public relations department as saying. Organized by Materials and Metallurgical Engineering department at the university, the event provides the opportunity for the applicants to present their articles and proposals. Enthusiasts should submit their articles until July 6 and get ready to present and defend their proposals besides testing their theory in practice before a jury on the due dates. The event is believed to motivate talented and enthusiastic students to compete to find ways of curbing the growing concern about industrial waste, which is nationally and internationally turning into a serious problem.
