Keep Away From Wildlife in Mating Season

Environment officials appealed the public to keep away from wild animals in natural parks and protected areas during the mating and birthing season so as not to disturb their reproduction. Akbar Sheikhzadeh Aqdam, director of a local office of the Department of Environment in Tehran, stressed that spring is a vital season, for the wildlife's survival highly depends on their success in reproduction. "It is necessary that people stand aloof from wild animals such as wild sheep, goat and other mammals, while in mating or breeding so as to avoid scattering them from their natural habitats and causing them stress," ISNA quoted him as saying.
