The Department of Environment (DoE) has set up a hotline to allow concerned citizens to report illegal, environmentally harmful activities to authorities, IRNA reported. Regardless of geographical position, people can dial 1540 to alert authorities to report environmental incidents. “The hotline will help get people involved in environmental issues,” said DoE head, Masoumeh Ebtekar.
