Making Way for Turtles

Officials at Nayband Bay marine national park in Bushehr Province have identified areas along the coastline where green turtles mate and lay eggs, according to the director of the park Mostafa Moa’zeni. “Areas which had fallen into disrepair have been restored,” he said. Green turtles are on the IUCN’s Red List, making their conservation a priority, Moa’zeni asserted.
