Iran's Kish Gas Field Project Commissioned

Pars Oil and Gas Company has been commissioned to develop the second and third phases of Kish Gas Field, the second largest in the Persian Gulf after South Pars, the managing director of the company said.
"Proposals for the development of the field were studied by the Oil Ministry and POGC was assigned to develop the field to produce on completion 85 million cubic meters of natural gas per day," the National Iranian Oil Company's news portal quoted Mohammad Meshkinfam as saying.
Some foreign firms and other domestic companies were also interested in the Kish project, he said.
