Mexico's energy companies have expressed interest in investing in oil and gas projects in Ilam province. "We submitted our initial proposals to a group of Mexican investors," the governor of the western province, Mohammadreza Morvarid, told IRNA on Tuesday, without pointing to the location and time of the meeting. Ilam is one of the richest Iranian provinces in terms of oil and gas reserves.
