The domestic petrochemical industry is well placed in the global market and plans to expand, said the director of planning and development at the state-run National Petrochemical Company.
Speaking on the sidelines of the 12th International Iran Plast Exhibition in Tehran, Farnaz Alavi said “Iran's petrochemical sector has a good presence in international markets and we have been able to sell in Asia and Europe,” NIPNA , the National Petrochemical Company's news agency, quoted her as saying.
With abundant hydrocarbon resources and the private sector’s new investments, Iran is making efforts to maintain its global status in the sector and broaden its scope.
