NIDC Operations on Track

Employing 73 offshore and onshore rigs, the state-owned National Iranian Drilling Company has drilled over 69,377 meters of oil and gas wells nationwide between March 21 and July 23, NIDC's deputy managing director said.
Hamidreza Khoshayand also told the National Iranian Oil Company's news portal that the firm has completed the operations for 53offshore and onshore oil and gas wells in the last four months. Of the total number of drilled wells, 25 were "development", three of them were categorized as "exploratory" and 25 needed overhauls, he added.
