3 South Pars Platforms to Be Installed by Sept. 22

Three new platforms of the South Pars Gas Field's phases 13, 14 and 22-24 in the Persian Gulf will be installed by summer end (Sept. 22), Pars Oil and Gas Company's director for project planning and control said. Ali Afarideh Ghiyassi added that the platforms, namely 14C, 13B and 24A, have registered a work-in-progress rate of 85-95% and will be ready for installation by the end of summer, POGC's website reported on Thursday. He added that platforms are under construction by Iran Marine Industrial Company, aka SADRA, and several other platforms, including 13, 13C, 23B and 14D, will be ready by the end of the current fiscal that ends in March 2019. All processes, including the design, manufacture and installation operations of the platforms, have been conducted by Iranian experts. A bulk of the equipment used in the construction of mega structures have also been supplied by domestic producers.
