Iraq Settles Gas Dues

Iraq has paid all its dues related to natural gas imports, the head of National Iranian Gas Company said. "NIGC is ready to supply Rumaila Gas Power Plant in Basr, as soon as Iraqi officials express their willingness to meet the costs," Hamidreza Araqi was also quoted as saying by ISNA on Tuesday. According to the official, Iran's gas output amounts to 210 billion cubic meters per annum, which will rise to 250 bcm by March 2019. "Increasing ethane output from 1.3-8.4 million tons per year is on the company's agenda during the next three years. The company's liquefied petroleum gas production will reach 12 million tons in the period," he said. Araqi noted that plans are in place to boost condensates output from 226-360 million tons and sulfur production will hit 2 million tons a year in three years.
