NISOC Modernizing Outdated Facilities

In line with policies to renovate outdated facilities in oil and gas companies to boost production, National Iranian South Oil Company has reconditioned dilapidated equipment in Masjed Soleyman Oil and Gas Producing Company, NISOC's managing director said.
"The new installations, which have been designed with the help of domestic expertise, comply with international standards," Bijan Alipour was also quoted as saying by NIOC's news portal on Saturday. 
Giving a breakdown on the venture, the official added that the new facilities include oil desalting units as well as natural gas injection installations in a number of oilfields, namely Haftkel, Naft Sefid, Lab-Sefid, Kaboud, Masjed Soleyman and Nar.
"Masjed Soleyman Company accounts for 6% of the country's total oil production," he said.
