Iranian Offshore Oil Company installed the jacket of platform F-18 for Forouzan Oilfield near Kharg Island, which is shared by Iran and Saudi Arabia in the Persian Gulf, chief executive officer of IOOC said. “As soon as drilling operations are completed and the platform becomes fully operational, the field's output, currently standing at 40,000 barrels per day, will rise by 7,000 barrels a day,” Hamid Bovard was also quoted as saying by the official portal of the National Iranian Oil Company on Monday. According to the official, Darya Fan Qeshm Industries Company successfully performed the loadout of the 1,950-ton jacket in Qeshm yard on Sept. 15. "Plans are going well for Forouzan Oilfield. During the sanctions years, we had to reduce the field's output because of insufficient storage capacity in tankers," he said. The official noted that in addition to crude output, gas condensate production will also experience a twofold rise, jumping from 7 million cubic meters to 14 mcm.
