Turkey will invest $300 million with Royal Dutch Shell to explore for natural gas and oil after discoveries were made in the Romanian basin, Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz was quoted by TradeArabia as saying. Exploration work will begin in January, Yildiz said, adding that a planned Russian gas pipeline does not necessarily mean Turkey will buy more supplies.
