Iran has exported an average of 1.5 million liters of Euro-4 diesel per day from Mahshahr Port in southern Iran in the first four months of the current Iranian year that started on March 20, an official of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company said. "This is the first time that diesel compliant with Euro-4 standards is exported from Mahshahr oil terminal to global markets," Mahmoud Taherizadeh also told Mehr News Agency. He added that mazut exports from the port stand at more than 960,000 million liters in the said period, showing a 62% rise in comparison with 472 million liters last year. Stressing that Mahshahr Port has turned into a corridor for exporting oil byproducts, Taherizadeh noted that plans have been made to increase diesel and mazut exports from the port in the near future. Iran's total diesel exports, amounting to 9.5 million liters per day since March 2016, have doubled compared with that of last year's corresponding period.
