Ukraine Seeks Energy Independence

Ukraine's oil and gas company Naftogaz head, Andriy Kobolyev, said on Thursday that the country will resume gas imports in early July in preparation for the heating season. "I expect that in a 10-year perspective, Ukraine will be absolutely energy independent and we will not buy any single meter of international gas, neither from Russia nor from Europe," Yatsenyuk stated, Sputnik reported.
