French electric utility company Engie and China's Shaanxi Houde Tongxing said they have signed a $214 million investment agreement to establish a joint venture in China's Shaanxi Province, of which Engie holds 35% of shares. The venture aims to build one of the largest LNG industrial bases in the northwest region of China and develop LNG downstream activities, Reuter reported.
