Gazprom exported 13.6 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe and Turkey in August. According to the company’s data obtained by TASS, in August 2014, exports amounted to 11.13 billion cubic meters, which means that exports in August 2015 increased by 22.2 %. In July, Gazprom's exports to Europe and Turkey amounted to 14.29 billion cubic meters. Exports of gas from Russia to Europe in the first half of the year amounted to 74 billion cubic meters. Gazprom, the world's biggest natural gas producer, said second-quarter profit rose 29% as a weaker rouble offset falling prices and lower fuel supplies. Net income rose to almost $4.6 billion from $3.5 billion a year earlier, the state-run company said late Monday in a statement.
