Russia and China signed on Monday a governmental agreement on cooperation on gas supplies via the Power of Siberia gas pipeline, the so-called “eastern route,” Reuters reported. The document was signed between Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang in Moscow in Monday. Gazprom and CNPC signed the $400b deal to supply gas via the pipeline in May.
