Ukraine is boosting daily imports of natural gas from Slovakia by 33% from August 6 to 30.3 million cubic meters, the head of press service of Ukraine's gas pipeline operator Ukrtransgaz, Maksim Belyavsky, said. Ukraine imported 568.3 mcm of European gas in July and 790.2 mcm in June, TASS reported. Hungary and Poland suspended gas supplies to Ukraine on July 1 and May 1, respectively, while Ukraine suspended imports of Russian gas from July 1.
